The 9th Good Life lunch held
at the Portsea Hotel was wonderful.
Thank you to the people who ventured down to
Portsea on an unexpectedly sunny winter’s day.
Although there was not the usual fashion parade,
we enjoyed great presentations on fitness with
Vanessa Cook from Inner Balance, beauty and
make-up tips from Julie Hyne of Allyou and hair
fashion and care from Zumay’s Lorna Evans. But
special guests, the Pole Divas from Mornington
stole the show demonstrating amazing flexibility,
grace and style in a range of pole dancing moves
to a delighted audience of ladies (and some lucky
men) who lunched.
We raised more than $2800 for the Heart
Foundation’s Go Red For Women appeal and
many thanks to the Portsea Hotel for helping
theme the day with red balloons & menus -
although our lunch may not have been completely
‘heart friendly’ it was delicious all the same.
Thank you to auctioneer Christian Numar from
MPRE Harcourt for a job well done. Our regular
auctioneer Peter Gourgouris was unavailable
on the day as he was with his wife for the birth
of their first child - best wishes to the new
Gourgouris family.
Annika Turpie from 3MP yet again sold
an astonishing amount of raffle tickets.
A BIG thank you to her and her team and well
done to the multitude of winners.
