HOUSE

Dennis from ?House? in
Mornington compliments our
kitchen feature with accents.
Statements are made by
kitchen aids and incorporated
into a kitchen decor, Earthy

At Sue Quigley's Ab Fab in Flinders you will find an eclectic range of hand
picked decorator items including home wares, gifts, jewellery, handbags,
chocolates, toys & bears & a gorgeous range of ?Crabtree & Evelyn? body
reds being a favourite for products. 1/46 Cook St, Flinders. Ph. 5989 0033. Open 7 days.

Traditionally, winter is the time to come indoors pearlized lamps with gold leaf
and ?hibernate?. We surround ourselves with warm, (1.65 metre standard lamp),
cosy, good feeling interiors. Indoors, the kitchen simply a sight to see.

and garden

becomes a focal point, the heart of the home, the

smell of homemade stews, soft lighting, family and
dinner conversations. Our lounge rooms become a
gathering place for conversation and perhaps the
viewing of our favourite footy teams (GO SAINTS!),
draping ourselves over sumptuous sofas.

THIS ISSUE WE EMBRACE ?WINTER?...
Briony's ?Bed ?n Home? in Mornington has a true
?winter? feel with a magnificent new range of ruched
velvet cushions in plums, coppers, forest greens,
complimented by smaller plump, coordinated &
sequined cushions & luxurious mohair rugs. Warmth
just exudes from her creative & colourful store.

Sofa So Good?s Jason provides a service that
includes total customized living room sofas, rugs
and lamps to suit the room and the owner! Textures,
patterns, coordinated ranges in complimentary
colours with dashes of vibrancy in solid colours
complete a theme.

Dale from ?Tigerlily? in Mornington has a magic
range of rough sawn Tasmanian Oak Timber - rustic
& rugged but gives flavour to any home - Australia
grown! Dale focus is on dining & lounge areas.

Chris from ?Absolutely Fabulous? in Mt Eliza,
compliments the winter lounge decor in gorgeous

winter.
Catherine and Lizzie from ?Mellow Canary? in Mt
Eliza encourage their clients to bring their heritage,
comfortable, well worn and well loved pieces into
their home. (See more in the kitchen feature).

WHAT IS OUR COSIEST PLACE IN THE HOME
DURING WINTER? The bedroom- aahh. Snuggled
up in a warm doona, loads of pillows, subdued
lighting & a good book. Alan of ?Bedshed? in
Mornington has a new range of beds that ensures
?very little partner disturbance?. No guarantees on the
snoring factor but has a fabulous pocket spring bed
that may alleviate sleeping problems.

Vanessa from Snooze in Dandenong (formerly
Capt'n Snooze) offers a free body map that will help
you ensure that you get the right bed for you.
And, if you want more, why not try a 15 minute
massage on their new range of Human Touch
massage chairs - what indulgence!

OUR WINDOW & DOOR FEATURE IS A MUST
TO READ. Graeme from ?Doorworld? is creating
some interesting dimensions to this industry. Rin
from ?Future Windows? takes windows into the
next decade. Such an important decision in a home
can?t be overlooked. Scott from ?All Seasons Clear
Blinds? tells us how we can make full use of exterior
living areas by creating outdoor windows.

Back to our kitchen feature we speak about lighting,
with Adam from ?Beacon Lighting? of Frankston.
Paula from ?Nepean Stone? talks about alternatives
in stone, and Chris from ?CFS Joinery? talks about
extra?s a kitchen requires. All of these culminate to
create a kitchen of consequence. With this we see a
real life transformation of a lounge room created by
Judy Lucy of Mornington. So read on!

-Cheers
Ginger Hill.
