Domain by the Bay aged care
facility in Mt Martha, works to
Eden Principles, which recognises
the value of introducing children,
companion animals and plants
into aged care. We focus on a life
worth living.
Domain by the Bay features quality
fittings and fixtures throughout.
All accommodation is ground
level including single, double and
interconnecting suites. The spacious
suites enable residents to maintain
independence and privacy with
ensuites, built-in robes, individual
climate control, an in-room security
cupboard, phones, TV connection
and 24 hour care assistance. There is
ample room for treasured possessions
and favourite items of furniture. Some
suites have their own kitchenette,
others have a fully secured courtyard
and a garden outlook. These superb
features create an atmosphere
of home-like comfort in a lush
garden environment.
On-site chefs provide a wide variety
of delicious, freshly prepared meals,
with special nutritional and dietary
needs catered for. Residents may
choose to have their meals in the
dining room or served in their rooms.
The bar is open at 4pm daily for
pre-dinner drinks and entertainment.
Our qualified Lifestyle Co-ordinators
have developed programs and
activities where an active social life
can be enjoyed both within our facility
and in the local community.
Activities include shopping centre
trips, arts and crafts, bowls, bingo,
gardening, movies and cards.
Local school groups often visit
the facility and enjoy a mutual
companionship.
Residents, and their families,
of Domain by the Bay, have the
assurance of the facility providing
ageing in place. The facility
accommodates 140 residents with
low and high care options available.
Domain by the Bay includes an
extra services wing of 38 beds
and has a 17 bed secure unit
for dementia specific residents.
Respite is also available and all
beds are Government funded.
Management and staff combine in an
environment of teamwork at Domain
by the Bay to ensure a consistently
high level of care for residents.
Vacancies are available and families
are welcome to contact Domain by
the Bay to arrange an inspection.
We also run open days on the 3rd
Wednesday of every month.
